It would be easy to say, as many cloud service providers like to imply, that we were one of the first providers of enterprise cloud services but we weren’t, and for good reason. We watched the market develop during its infancy, and took note of what works and what doesn’t. As a result, when we entered the market we were confident that we were offering the right range of solutions utilising the best technologies.
We saw the cloud as a game changer so after initially entering the market by renting compute resources from carefully selected datacentre providers we decided to invest heavily in our own enterprise cloud platform. Today we operate an industry leading cloud platform across two datacentres located in Hertfordshire. Using our enterprise cloud platform we can deliver a vast range of services to clients including telephony.
In addition to our own cloud platform, as a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, we also offer our clients the complete range of Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Azure solutions.
What is Cloud Computing?
Cloud computing is a type of computing that relies on sharing computing resources rather than having local servers or personal devices to handle applications. The word cloud (phrased as “the cloud”) is used as a metaphor for “the Internet,” so the phrase cloud computing means “a type of Internet-based computing,” where different services (e.g. servers, storage and applications) are delivered to an organization’s computers and devices through the Internet.

Microsoft Office 365 & Azure
As a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) our consultants and support engineers are skilled and experienced in the delivery of Office 365 and Azure solutions. Microsoft Office 365 provides a number of different plans which are designed to meet every business need and offer “out of the box” low cost cloud adoption. Microsoft Azure allows the deployment of business workloads (such as web apps, virtual machines, SQL databases, mobile back-ends and much more) on Microsoft’s cloud platform. Using Azure allows you to take advantage of the massive Microsoft compute resource which provides unrivalled scalability and resilience.
Telephony
Our enterprise cloud offers hosted telephony utilising either ShoreTel or Microsoft Skype for Business (formerly Lync). Both of these solutions provide a complete communication and collaboration platform for your business including presence, instant messaging, conference calling, video conferencing and voice (using VoIP).
